Average length of stay

The average length of stay represents the number of days our clients are staying for rehabilitation services in our brain injury, specialized orthopaedic and complex care units. The average excludes other services we provide such as respite care and sleep studies. The number also excludes our long-stay clients who are not discharged until we can ensure the specialized care they need is in place. This may include resources such as nurses trained in pediatric tracheostomies and the availability of mechanical ventilators.
